This week, I'm grateful that I like to cook. Not to say that I always bounce into the kitchen full of smiles and enthusiasm (especially right now since dinner preparations tend to interfere with my afternoon nap) but overall I really enjoy the process of cooking. And sitting down to a home cooked meal with my family is one of my greatest joys. Feeding my family is very soul-satisfying for me; it's a very tangible, concrete way I'm fulfilling my responsibility to care for my husband and kids. And then there's the yumminess of freshly baked treats - nothing compares to that! And I'm grateful for my husband who appreciates my cooking and doesn't take those home cooked meals for granted :)
