Jacob has a new favorite toy. Yes, it's an empty cardboard box. He keeps coming back to it, day after day.
This morning I was trying to get his attention while he was playing. He'd look at me for a second, then go back to the box. I was obviously an unwelcome distraction.
Finally, he moved on and could spare time to smile for me.
Oh, and books are good, too.
New this week, Jacob is sitting up unsupported. Yay! He has always preferred standing to sitting, so there were times I figured he'd walk before he learned to sit on his own.
