Having triplets is DEFINITELY harder than a single baby. So many diapers. So many bottles. So little sleep. Sometimes it feels like I don't get enough snuggle and play time with them - as soon as I get one baby happy I have to put her down to take care of the next fussy one.
But there are benefits to triplets, too. The thoughtfulness and generosity we've been shown is awe-inspiring. I can fall asleep easier and faster than ever before, anytime and anywhere (chronic sleep deprivation will do that for you). There's almost always a baby to hold rather than do housework.
The biggest perk right now:
3x the baby grins!

Splash!
What's summer without playing in the water.
The fun starts with filling the pool.Get the sprinkler going too.
Wet and happy
Naomi line of the day: "We love splashing in cold water... in our pajamas!"
Explanation: The kids bathing suits were still packed in a box so they played in the water in their clothes. Naomi had asked to stay in her pajamas that day - and I was still in mine so I couldn't really tell her no - so that's what she wore for the water play.

Friends
I was excited to have my friends Susan and Katie come from NY for a visit.
It feels like it hasn't been that long since we were planning Young Single Adult activities together. Now our kids are playing together.
