May was a busy month! Here's a photographic summary.
My family has a lot of May birthdays. We celebrated Anna's first birthday.
And Jennifer's birthday (she had the kids help blow out her candles).Naomi helped Grandma make birthday cookies to send to Glen. And Michael turned 3.
Hyrum came home from BYU for the summer. Naomi is very excited to have someone else to play with her. (Although sometimes she thinks Hyrum is boring.)
We spent a lot of time together with the cousins.
Jacob figured out how to get around on his own.
And, of course, a great deal of playing and general goofing off.
We also read a lot of books.
And, when I got my way, we even on occasion took naps.

Washing Ellen's Car
While a bunch of us worked on sorting and cleaning in our rented storage units, Ellen was in charge of the kids. She put them to work helping wash her car.
Michael may have been marginally helpful. He was at least throwing wet rags in the direction of the car.
But Sarah and Naomi quickly decided that sitting in the buckets of water was more fun than working!
Needless to say, they were all soaked!

Breakfast
Naomi and Jacob love playing together. Especially at breakfast. Something about oatmeal and applesauce just brings out the goofy in them.
One of their favorite games is to take turns shaking their heads as hard as they can. It cracks them both up! Here's an attempt to capture it. (Jacob doesn't really perform for the camera.)
We tried videoing again a few days later, with only slightly better success.
