Our friend Brenda from West Virginia came up for a visit this week. She's the one who had sent Naomi her recliner and was glad to see it used in person.
Brenda also brought a new special present for Naomi: a doll high chair. Brenda had gotten it for her dolls when she was 5, and now she's passing it on. Naomi is thrilled with it! Doll is now very well fed.Butterfly Brenda also gave Naomi a new set of sheets for her bed and a few new outfits. (Guess what's on them.)

Naomi
Naomi is a great helper! She especially loves to help with cooking. She's proficient with pouring, stirring, and cracking eggs. Grandma even got her her own little apron. (She thought posing for photos was an unnecessary delay to the cooking.)
Here she is making a cookie cake with Ellen.
She also loves to help take care of Jacob. Most meals, she will get the jar of food for him out of the drawer. Here she is "organizing" the jars before picking one. (Our kids are bound to be either compulsive organizers like Sam and I both are, or are going to go to the other extreme and be hopeless. Naomi is definitely an organizer.)With the weather finally getting warmer, Naomi is always asking to go outside to play. She'll take her stroller out and walk her doll up and down the front path. When she can't go outside, she'll tell me she and Doll are "going to the mall" and she'll push the stroller through the house.

Sunny Afternoons
Easter
Since Easter fell on General Conference this year, it was a pajama day for us. Jacob and Naomi wore new pajamas that they'd gotten from our friend Brenda.
We went to Drew's house and had an Easter egg hunt for the kids. Naomi needed help with the first couple, but then she caught on to what we were doing - and was finding some faster than I was. (I don't know why this first picture insisted on posting sideways.)
Naomi sharing an egg she found with Michael.
Sarah posing with one of her eggs for Ellen. Anna observing.
Then came the opening and the goodies! Since the kids don't eat candy, the eggs were filled with goldfish crackers, cheese puffs, and pretzel bites.
