My sister just bought an elliptical that came in - what else - a big box! Sam decided that Naomi had outgrown her starter home and was ready for something a little bigger and more elaborate.
The original house.
The upgrade. Complete with a pointy roof, a door with a handle, and a window.Sam and Naomi even decorated the inside.
He's such a good dad!

Beading with Mamaw
Last week Naomi got to hang out with Mamaw & Papaw while Sam & I went out to dinner. (I'm not ready to leave Jacob for that long yet, so he missed the fun and had to tag along with us.) While they were waiting for Papaw to get home from work, Naomi helped Mamaw make a beaded bookmark. Naomi picked the beads, handed Mamaw her tools, and even helped string a few beads.
Mamaw had so much fun that she also made Naomi a charm to go on the handle of her doll's diaper bag and a sparkly bracelet (with a magnet clasp so Naomi can get it on and off herself - hurray!).

Naps
Naomi thinks she doesn't need naps anymore. I think she does. Her recent habit of falling asleep at the dinner table is points for my side of the argument.
Jacob, on the other hand, still loves to nap. If I'm not available to put him down, he'll put himself to sleep. His favorite soother is his little blue elephant blanket, but anything fuzzy will do - even his socks.
